Unhappy with the Results of a Trial
Are you unhappy with the results of a trial in family court? Check out this video by our dedicated Jersey City attorney for guidance.
Many times as an experienced New Jersey Family Law Attorney, I am asked what to do if you were unhappy with the results of a motion or trial.
In New Jersey, if there is a motion that’s heard, or in fact a hearing is held, you are not satisfied with the results of it, you have 45 days in which to file an appeal from the Judge’s decision. That appeal is heard in the Appellate division of the state of New Jersey. If the appeal is granted, then the judge’s decision is vacated.
